Project Overview and Artist Statement

For my final art project I intend to make a graffiti. I'm actually going to spray paint the graffiti on a panel. I'm really interested in this type of art because I love using graffiti as a form of self-expression. I began to spray paint five years ago in Rome where graffiti is not only an extremely popular art movement but it is also allowed in designated areas by the city hall. Graffiti is not just writing or drawing things on walls. It entails a very complex and technical drawing and painting method, which includes understanding colour theory, perspective, 3D highlighting and shadowing and space. Besides, of course, having the ability and skills to draw.
Therefore,my "piece" will be composed of my tag name Tito.
